2022-2023 PRE-K Lottery (Online Application)
Pre-K Lottery (Online Application) process will take place from
February 08 to March 07 to ensure all interested can apply.
Please check the District’s website to complete the online Pre-K Lottery application: https://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/pre-k/
Documents required to be UPLOADED during the on-line application process in order for your application to be considered for the lottery.
- Proof of birth?(Your child must be four years old on or before September 2, 2017)
- Original certified birth certificate, Hospital Record of Live Birth, Green Card, Pink Card or Federal I-94 Card; or child’s passport (Copies of these documents are not accepted)
- Proof of legal guardianship?(If applicable)
- Only required if your name is not on the child’s birth certificate
- Parent/Guardian proof of identification
- Photo ID, such as a Driver’s license, or a valid U.S. passport ID
- Proof of Parent/Guardian Georgia Residency*
- Mortgage or lease/rental agreement in your name, OR an electric, gas, or water bill in your name, cable and phone bills are not acceptable
***If you are living with someone and you do not have a lease, mortgage or utility bill in your name, you must submit the following: A signed and notarized Affidavit of Residency??https://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/documents/online-registration/affidavit-of-residence-updated.pdf?. Also, the following documents need to be submitted as part of the Affidavit of Residency: lease/mortgage statement, utility bill in the name of the person that you are living with?AND?a form of mail in the name of the child’s guardian showing a matching address to the affidavit.

2021-2022 Solicitud de la Lotería de Pre-kindergarten (EN LINEA)
El proceso de solicitud de la Lotería de Pre-K (en línea) se llevará a cabo desde el
8 de febrero hasta el 8 de marzo.
Visite el sitio Web del Distrito para completar la solicitud en línea de la Lotería de Pre-kindergarten: https://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/pre-k/#
Debe DESCARGAR los siguientes documentos cuando este completando la solicitud EN LINEA para que su solicitud sea considerada para la lotería:
- Prueba de nacimiento?(su hijo debe tener cuatro años el 1 de septiembre de 2017 o antes)
- Acta de nacimiento original certificada, registro de nacimiento del hospital, tarjeta de residencia permanente, tarjeta rosada/tarjeta federal I-94 o pasaporte del niño (no se aceptan copias de estos documentos)
- Prueba de tutela legal (si corresponde)
- Solo se requiere si su nombre no está en el certificado de nacimiento del niño
- Prueba de identificación con foto del padre / tutor
- Comprobante de residencia en Georgia del padre / tutor *
- Hipoteca o contrato de arrendamiento / alquiler o una factura de luz, gas o agua a nombre del padre/madre del niño(a) las facturas de cable y teléfono no son aceptables.
* Si vive con alguien y no tiene un contrato de arrendamiento, hipoteca o factura de servicios públicos a nombre del padre/madre del estudiante, debe presentar lo siguiente: Una declaración jurada de residencia firmada y notariada. https://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/documents/online-registration/affidavit-of-residence-updated.pdf Junto con la Declaración Jurada debe descargar contrato de arrendamiento / hipoteca, factura de servicios públicos a nombre del persona con la que vive?y?una forma de correo a nombre del padre/madre del estudiante que muestre una dirección que coincida con la Declaración Jurada.?
