The mission of the library media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.
The Kingsley Library Media Center supports this goal by providing students and staff with resources, both print and electronic, to support the school’s curriculum in the following ways:
- Collaborating with teachers and administrators
- Teaching information literacy sills to students and staff
- Encouraging reading at school and home
- Making the library accessible and attractive

The reading level of a book (indicated by the color dot on the spine) correlates to the reading level listed on the chart.

Annual reading bowl hosted by the Dekalb County School System at the end of January for students 4-12 grade.
Books nominated are used for the Helen Ruffing Reading Bowl.
